Dr Alan Cheung is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Medical Director of International Orthopaedic Clinic, with more than 20 years of experience.
Dr Alan Cheung is an experienced knee surgeon in Singapore dedicated to helping patients with knee injuries and conditions attain optimal recoveries as quickly as possible. From non-surgical treatments to minimally invasive procedures and complex knee surgeries (including the use of robotic techniques), patients can rest assured that they will receive personalised and effective care in their best interests.
Being trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu & mixed martial art, Dr Alan Cheung is passionate about sports and has active involvement in Singapore sporting scene. He is the team doctor for Singapore cycling & wrestling federation. He also leads the local medical team for the One Championship mixed martial events in Singapore.
Having various injuries as a sportsman himself, Dr Alan understands how to manage injury effectively for proper recovery & has helped many athletes return to sports again.

I recently had a partial knee replacement done by Dr Alan and his nurse Mabel. The entire process from beginning to end has been extremely professional and kind. The initial assessment and advisory on what procedure would suit my needs best was very thorough and Dr Alan took time to explain me procedure, pros/cons and why this was the best option for me. The surgery itself was a very safe and comfortable experience from arriving to the hospital to being discharged. Lastly the aftercare has been extremely caring and attentive. Whenever I have a question I also get a clear answer or appointment to help me addressing the issue.
